The Washington Monument
On July 10, 2009 We went to the Washington Monument. We stop on the outside of the White House and took pictures. Then we were all wondering why was the White House color white. Then Mr.Hammond told us that the only color that was cheep to color the White House was the color White. So that's why know it is called the White House. Then we went to the White House visiting center and we read alot of things of the White House it told us a lot of things about it. Then we went to the world war two memorial where their were all the states and we saw alot of stars we tried to count them but their were too much stars. Then we went to the place that their were alot of names in a wall. That place was really sad to see all those names in the wall alot of people died for helping our country.

The White House has become a major American symbol and it's based on cheap paint color. Huh. Interesting fact. That's a good one to share with people. It makes you sound super-smart.
